Kannywood’s Hausa film actress, Zuwaira Saleh Pantami, who is known as Adama in the long-running program “Dadin Kowa”, has revealed how she was sentenced to death in Saudi Arabia.
She stated this, during an interview with actress Hadiza Gabon in her program Gabon’s Room Show.
She explained how she followed the footsteps of a thief in Saudi Arabia until she was sentenced to death.
Adama stated that she was sentenced to death in Saudi Arabia.
In her statement, she said that God saved her because she did not commit the crime she was accused of.
“Sometimes I went to Umara, but I took the scraps of goods that were being transported from Nigeria to sell there,” said Zuwaira.
She said that I went with such things as sweet, sweet, sweet, nut, etc. “After I sold it, I saw the profit that I got, which doubled the investment.”
It was only when I came back to Nigeria that I used to buy these kinds of clothes, I used to take them to Saudi Arabia, I sold them, I came back and bought them again and went back.
“I spent a long time doing this until the day I was arrested, and from then on, I didn’t do it again,” she said.
She said that the last time she came, one day she was in the city of Riyadh, and she met a friend of Sudanese origin, and she asked me to accompany her home.
Adama said that all the women in the room were taken to the police station, and that’s where my friend told me that you didn’t commit a crime; you just followed the footsteps of a thief.
Adama said, “This statement that the security officers heard was made about me is the reason for my escape.”
“Later, I realized that the others who were arrested were accused of murdering an old man.”
Adama said that in the end she was released, but the other seven were sentenced to death.
